• The violation of the library lending rules may result in the following fines.
   
  I.   A borrower who fails to return the library books or any other   material       on due date, shall have to pay a fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be             charged after the due date. 
  II.  In the case of book loss or defacement by a user, he/she will be               charged two times /double the current price of the book or replace the         book plus a 10 per cent processing fee.
  
  III. The librarian/ Incharge Library shall decide the price of rare/special         books. Member shall not mutilate, or damage by writing or marking on           pages, any book or publication, nor shall they trace or perform               mechanical reproduction of a material belonging to the library without         formal permission of the librarian/ Incharge. 
  IV.  library, violation of this rule shall require replacement of                   damaged volume or payment of its price specified under the rule.
